Victoria Horne (she/her)


Victoria (she/her) is a bilingual Physiotherapist native to Halifax. She pursued studies in Quebec, earning a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Concordia University in 2007 and a Masters of Physiotherapy McGill University in 2013 while playing varsity Rugby. She has further completed several post graduate certificates including:

- Both the Intermediate and Advanced exams in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Diploma program, to obtain her FCAMPT accreditation.

-  GUNN Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) needling certification through University of British Colombia.

- Numerous Pelvic floor rehabilitation courses spanning across the gender spectrum, as well as specific to paediatrics

- Real time ultrasound for biofeedback in core and pelvic floor rehabilitation

- Partially completed professional Diploma in Osteopathy from the College D’etudes Osteopathiques du Canada (CEO).

Victoria’s treatment philosophy revolves around empowering the patient to take an active approach to their rehab goals and treatment, through personalized therapeutic exercise, advanced manual therapy, dry needling and education. Victoria has always been an active individual who aims to incorporate movement into all aspects of her life.

Outside of work, she enjoys aerial arts, specifically pole dance, yoga, strength training and running, often with one of her 2 children along for the ride.
